Presented about his recent work on bone marrow organoids (comBO) -- modelling haematopoiesis, immunosenescence and blood cancers in vitro.

  1. What will next-generation in vitro drug screening platforms look like if the goal is to causally map perturbations to multi-omic state changes, then to phenotypes and biological functions, in a way that produces actionable and translational insights for drug discovery?
  2. We can programme immune responses. We cannot yet debug them. What roles can immunocompetent organoids play in helping us debug immune responses?
  3. How do you disagree effectively when building at the bleeding edge, and how you use storytelling to influence those around you.
Is thymic selection better described as a hard filter or a noisy classifier?
